I am not wasting money in NUS

Money is not wasted in NUS. Internship, NUS make me pay school fees! Fine, Then I shall take up more modules to make my school fees worth it.

All the four modules that I planned for has been successfully bidded for. Namely:
GEK1542
GEM2901
CM3268
CM4261

Taking a range of modules from level one to level four. I hope I can make it. (: The level four module looks very difficult, not something that I can understand. ): Level 3 module look long and tedious to study. It is a self study module. rahhs. The other two level one and two modules should be alright, even if it is not, I can choose to utilise my last two SU options which will be deemed useless at the end of this semester.

No worries, I have promised to study real hard. Dear will be watching me and keeping me in track. No more gatherings every evenings, no more going out till late on Saturday nights. All that is left of me is Study and Mug hard! Joan Can Do It!:D

Since I am paying school fees while I am interning,

As the title goes, Since I am paying school fees while I am interning, I made the decision to take more evening modules in NUS on top of the self study module and forensics which was the initial plan. Just one more evening module to go, 6 to 9pm on a Monday night. It is a level 4 Core. Yup, level 4. To me the level doesn't seems to make a lot of difference except for the cohort that you are taking it with. Alright, maybe its too soon to make that conclusion, but at least that was what I felt when I took level 3 core in year 2. Dawn was commenting that it sounds like smart joan taking advanced level things. I think she forget to add in just one more word, smart aleck joan would be more appropriate. Hope I don't regret what I am doing. No, I will love what I am doing. The Law of Attraction is powerful, It is The Secret and I faithfully believes in it.

Just to add a little surprise at the end of this post, I might take one more GEM module, provided that I can bid for both forensics and that GEM. Both are modules with high bid points. Together with my Internship, the number of MCs I am fulfilling this semester would be 24 (: Happiness, it makes the money I pay to NUS totally worth it.

eleven the sacred number.

eleven. brother's L1R5.
3 points more than expected. more as in greater in value. meaning lousier than expected.

saying good bye to his dream school. ):
I will support his decision no matter what. (:
Appeal for it!
May he succeed.

"Celebratory" dinner at Changi Village Hotel.
had a long chit chat session with family.
Just the four of us. Warm and cosy feel. Simple life is loves.
& we saw chef William! (: haha, the Chef from Channel U programme.
He helped me toast my kaya bread! :D

first day of school.
tiring. ):
only two lectures, but lessons stretched from 8am to 6pm.
first lecture: 8am to 10am.
Second lesson: 4pm to 6pm.
not that I'm staying beside school or in the west, cant even go home, so I had to rot in school.
Stef and I went out for lunch at Woori Nara Korean restaurant tho.
Yummy! :D I think I'm totally exaggerating how nice everything taste.
Especially the brown rice tea. (: I think I am becoming addicted into drinking teas. (:

catching up session with quite a few people.
Kaiwei scared me with a freaking video. which i suspected something was wrong.
Short phone call with weian discussing about German stuff and our siblings' results.
smsed dawn. short chit chat session too.
busy us. ): no time for meet ups. ):
never mind, we have to work hard now!
Jiayou dawn! :D

& I need to start working hard. (or even harder than before)
timetable is shitty. hope that I will have time to handle my 6 modules.
might have to give up tuition. ): sad. ): no money. gonna take up new tuition jobs. I prefer Saturday tuitioning assignments.
Anyone wanna recommend? Emaths/Chemistry/Amaths. (: contact me ya. (: experienced tutor :P ha! :D

sunset in Germany. on our very last day.

stress starts bulding up.

SAD THINGS...
everyone starts to mug.
everyone gets hardworking.
that includes me. time is tight, and schlafenzeit ist diminishing.
lab that day wasn't fine.
I was late for German for 45 minutes?
How fine can it get? ): I would never want to be late ever again.
German (and maybe PR3101) are my favorite lectures.
Sucks.
and i cant believe that I actually prefer level 3000 modules. What's wrong with me?

HAPPY THINGS..
went over to ION orchard with kesleen to collect my OPI nail polish!
They are finally here! :D
Happy! :D just applied them. (: pretty pinkish red.
Had Gustimo with kes. (:
with a mini chit chat session.
it has been long since we talked.
there is this really heartwarming feeling whenever I talk to saggi buds.
Guess we are both saggis.
And it seems that she truly understands and see things in my point of view.
Kes and I decided to reserve a seat for 4 for xiao long bao buffet tmr.
However, it was already fully booked! ): arghs.. ):
Never mind. We promise to go again!

Dad doesn't want to fetch me to school again tomorrow.
damn it. waking up at 550am is shit.
haiz. it affects my concentration level in lectures.
I am going to down a can of red bull tmr again.
8am to 8pm.

my macbook pro is hospitalised. ):

Warranty is over, but Apple was nice enough to replace the mother board for free. (:
Though I won't quite say that Apple is nice, as it was all along their problem to start with. :P

Blogging from my Brother's white Macbook now. Poor brother, he has to be parted from his MB cos of me!
However looking on the bright side, I am actually helping him concentrate on his studies. HAHA!
He has gotten an A1 for his Chinese! (only 16 people from his school got A1 for MOTHER TONGUE.pathetic eh?)
Nevertheless, great job bro! Just like his sister (: HAHA!
We're all Chinese Pros. (:

I miss my MBP):
My heart ached when I couldn't wake it up from its sleep mode. (okies, I literally teared too. ):)
Traurig, es ist mein Schatz! ):
Come back to me soon. (Speculated to be later part of the week.)

Workload from school is getting heavier as expected.
Even without all the tutorials and labs.
Can't imagine what life would be like loaded with tutorials, labs, tuition, etc etc.
So far, I guess I have been rather on track and coping well. (ok, maybe not. just let me live in denial for a while.)
Had been paying attention in all lectures except for probably Organic Chem ):
CM2121 is crap serious!
Everything is so messy, and the Prof reminds me so much of a more untidy Jaenicke.

I tried to pay attention in his lecture but I will drift away every now and then.
His voice is so lullaby-ish. He loves to crack jokes which is helpful in keeping me awake, but I get carried away by those jokes and my train of thoughts get distracted. Gosh, once again an Organic Nightmare.
I have landed myself in this heap of trouble. I don't quite have to take Organic Chemistry actually.
But for the sake of my graduation on time(hopefully), Organic Chem is here to pester me again.
Organic Chem is more of an Elective then a Core. crazy right? Who takes Organic as an Elective one? (Except for those Maths Major.)
Alrights, time to organise my Organic Chem notes. (they are freaking expensive to print! Cos they are coloured. -I chose to print them coloured. I only have myself to blame once again.)

For the past week, I didn't manage to complete CM2161 tutorial and also prep for PR3101 lab.
Lab was not as great. Shall not elaborate further.
Incompetency was partly due to CMAD and the hospitalisation of my MBP. ):
CMAD was good! HAHA! seeing wawa getting kicked, thrown and also "mopping" the floor with his body? HAHA!
@wawa your actions are caught on video! :P
Unexpected discovery of NUS Museum open house.
Sculptures of squashed up koreans by a Korean sculpturer.
Not that I know how to appreciate art, but they look interesting and scary when viewed in certain angles.

Drew out a long do-to-list for the weekend.
hais. not going out with dear this Saturday. Ops manning.
However, going for 30/06 class gathering. (:
Not having tuition on Sunday too. going temple. then giving aunt a mini birthday celebration thereafter.
With the huge amount of time that I am actually staying at home for the weekend, I hope to complete at least 75% of my tasks.

Anyway, did I mention that dear is going for reservist again.
Army sucks. :P
Forever calling dear up.
That isn't the gist of the problem.
Calling him up on is birthday is the irritating thing.
damn it(eat) shit.

oh, I caught The Hangover recently.
Alternative to The Proposal. (cause there were too few timeslots at late timings as they were only sneak previews.)
The Hangover was pretty shitty la.
Crappy show. With Nudity, lots of F-words etc etc. [NC16 only] (dear enjoyed it tremendously. his kinda show.)
Though I would say that the plot was not bad.

Caught the Jack Neo movie, Where got Ghost?
erm. one word - SUCKS!
don't waste money. This kinda movie can just buy DVDs is you really wanna watch it.
Worst of all his shows.
Its a trying too hard movie. and the jokes aren't funny.
This movie has been topping most of the Cinemas box office 'cause it has really too too many timeslots everywhere.
There were about 5 timings of screening per day even when it was in its sneak preview period of time.
If you do your probability right, you will definitely realise that it is impossible NOT to top the box offices.
Just don't watch. If not you will regret. (Its even worse than Harry Potter if you think that Harry Potter was bad.)

Lastly!! I SO WANNA CATCH THE PROPOSAL! :D
gonna catch it with dear before he goes for reservist which is next next monday. ):
Need to find a good timing though. With my 3-days-till 8pm time table. 3 days of tuition. blah blah blah. ):
buais! :D back to MUG! (Russell, I go to school that early just to mug. :P )

Pharmacy module was like a Rocket ride.

Rocketed through PR3101 today.
Woah. quite an experience.
There is no chance for me to even rest my brain.
Information over over overLOAD!
There are too too many examples of drugs that she mentioned,
and I cant take down any of those drugs as I seriously do not know how to spell them.

This is a module which Year 3 Pharmacy Students are taking.
YEAR THREE MIND YOU!
they are year 3s and they have fulfilled the module pre-requisites which is another level 1 PR module.

Who are we, applied Chem students, compared to them?
GOSH!

Nevertheless, I have to say that this module is really quite interesting.
I am reading up for Lab tomorrow.
Pharmacy lab is cool!
sitting in an airconditioned computer lab, without ugly googles and labcoats, designing drugs! (:
(definitely my cup of tea! Can I change major to Pharmacy instead?) :D :D :D

After the pharmacy module today, we, went for our Swensons 1-for-1 ice cream Buffet at ION orchard.
Nothing fantastic. Quite sick of their ice cream.
And warning to those who want to try the SARSI flavour, IT TASTE LIKE MEDICATED OIL!
and the Durian taste like JACKFRUIT?/LYCHEE?
the menu looks far too apealling to be true.
Once, is enough. Wont go back again, for sure.
(if i am at ION, and i feel like eating ice cream, I woulld definitely choose
GUSTTIMO!)
PICTURES WILL BE UP SOME OTHER DAY. :P

oh.. and Armani Exchange in ION is opened!! :D WOOHOO-ED!
wanted to go take a look, but my brother called to meet up.
yeah, I MUST go soon!
that little glimpse into the shop seems promising.

UNIQLO is opened too.
that scam.
lots of people today.
but no crazy queue like the one in Tampines One.
Seriously, UNIQLO is just Japanese Giordano.
Nothing too wow-ish about the shop.

that's about all for today.
tomorrow is a slack day.
2 lectures are cancelled.
(yeah, NUS lecturers are so slack.)
only one Pharmacy lab. (:
back to reading for lab!

Tuesday, August 11, 2009

one out of many days of my routine.

First day of school and it was tiring.
To make things worse, I am still having my sudden coughing attacks, which I tried hard to suppress, gulping down huge quantities of water.
Tiring, for, I had lessons from 8am to 8pm.
Not exactly for the full 12hours, but there were bubbles in between.
This is what my Tuesdays&Fridays are gonna be like from now onwards.

Several hiccups in labs.
Confusion here and there.
Being in Applied Chemistry has its Pros&Cons.
Overloading for TWO semesters is reality! ):
plus the possibility of special semester.
Not considering the fact that I am going for SEP in Germany, and module mapping is gonna be a huge DISASTER!
Once again, I am inspired to go for my internship in Germany.
Time to brush up my German. *& curryflavor Prof J!*
WAHAHAHA! *my little evil plan*

We, (Russell, Kesleen, Stef and I) have decided to enjoy our week 1 of school.
going for an ice cream buffet at ION! :D
This Thursday!
Swensens! 1 for 1 offer! :D
cant wait for Thursday to arrive. (:

I am actually Loving&Hating tomorrow's arrival.
Loving: dinner with dear.
Hating: Tuition before that.

P.S. I enjoy one hour of tuition, but not the other hour. shucks. this sucks.

The final one.

The final test to conclude my LAG2201.
Hopefully I can do well in it!

I am just aiming for a B+.
Maintaining my last semester grade.
Though, I have been doing much better for all my tests as compared to the previous semester.
Maybe not oral? I dunno... I thought I did fine, but just don't have a good feeling about the oral results. Just wondering if we would ever get our oral results back. And some feedback too. (:

Oh, and Tampines 1 is finally opened! (:
Of course being a kiasu tampinesian I went down to Tampines 1 on the first day!
My Tampines 1 buddies were Kesleen, Stef and my brother!
Mom came over to join us for dinner after that.

Woohoo! There is a Bakerzin there! (:
Wanted to have dinner there but the place is really too crowded and the restaurant itself is pretty small, not suitable for accommodating that kinda crowd of that day.

There is a really small Sky Terrence. which my brother thinks that many people will go there and pak tor. That place is more of a smokers' heaven to me! eeks la! There was this chao ah beng who spitted on the floor la. What the hell!

I haven seen the indoor swimming pool around though.

Oh, the hottest thing in Tampines 1 is Uniqlo! haha! you need to queue up just to get in! Sounds like an LV shop, but nah, the things inside are affordable, in fact rather cheap, cos they are having sales for ten days! (till 19April!)
Polo Tees for $6.90! Skirts for $4.90! cheap right?
However, i did not have the patience to queue so, too bad. Shall visit it again when the queue is not so long, or when finally there is no need to queue to go in!

Saw quite a few Mediacorp celebrities there too. Many have opened shops in there.
I will be going down to Tampines 1 again tonight with dear (:
haha! bye!

back to studying for that final test. (:

papercut

just got this huge papercut on my hand and i feel faint!
gosh! You don't have any idea how painful it is. Just a small little cut.

Cut below the fingernail of my thumb.
The awful part with all the lines and wrinkles.
Directly on top of it. Shucks!

Nah, it isn't bleeding. Just a deep cut.
Fainting soon.
):

more reasons to faint:
Just completed an extremely difficult HAG for my German!
LAG2201 is getting tough!

CM1161 is killing me. Homework 7! Mine and Jiawei's combined question, Kesleen's question!
Haiz. Log mean temperature. I don't get it! unsolvable equations.

Cm1131 tutorial. Haven finish yet. First question and I am stuck. moved on to the second question, doable but totally no mood to do. guess i will leave it till tomorrow and once again, i am attending another tutorial slot. I had never gone for my own tutorial slot anyway.

Tuition was alright today. Suddenly had to coach two Primary 5 kids. Effectively, I have 4 tuition kiddos?
Payday next Wednesday. (: Looking forward to seeing the increase in my bank account! :D

its a vicious cycle...

Recently many are telling me that snoopy is very old!
Its the oldest cartoon or what la. Thanks to the jacky wu show.

Nevertheless, I still love snoopy!
I love old stuffs (:

Got some results back.
Best being my German Vocab test! :) 95%! Woohoo!
Next vocab test coming up, thursday. will be aiming for around this grade or even higher!
Looking forward to my immersion over there!
Hopefully I will be able to catch up and learn a lot more! :D

Got my CM1121 mid-sem test too.
61/100. Okies la. thought that i would do worse.
Question 2 was a killer for many.
20 marks question. Luckily i got 13. I think that was what saved me.
Test is doable if you study really hard and really understand all that organic mechanisms that are happening.
My tutor is right, It has been proved that for CM1121 people can get full marks!
yeah, my best buddy's best friend got full marks! 100/100!
Unbelievable! Nah, i think it is believable la. Cause its him! and he actually has the cheek to tell me that he haven found his stimulus. What the hell!

Got a B for the most recent labreport.
I think it is largely due to the fengshui of my fumehood.
Fumehood G6 really has lousy fengshui!
Things just don't turn out as it should be.
And i did not do anything wrong at all! How can that be right?
Haiz, hope that this lab report will be better than the previous one.

I believe that it will (: and things will eventually turn out right. (:
The secret, I am loving it. (:

She actually misses me!

Mary chew suddenly walked up to me and said,
"Joan I really really miss you! "

oh my god! how unexpected! What a nice ex-lab partner i have.
:D

We have decided to send her an invitation to join our NUS clique.
However, i refuse to sit next to her during CM1161! ):
She is the greatest distraction to me, and we are a huge distraction to all the rest.

I shall end by saying that i miss her too.
What a humorous lab partner you have been. Deeply appreciated.

Life these days.

Went through the 1 and a half weeks of school.
although it is a four days work week semester, life isn't as smooth sailing as i thought it would be.

Things are not exactly that un-smooth sailing also.
Fatigue from long hours in school, with long breaks very other day makes life unproductive.
Hopefully things gets a lot better after tutorials and lab starts.

This Semester is gonna be a crucial one for me.
My CAP of 3.6 puts me at a risky position in my pursuit for applied Chemistry.
Seriously need to maintain my CAP or better still pull it up!
It aren't gonna be easy, considering that I am currently taking up 4 cores,
(or I would consider that 5 cores as German is also of the same level of importance as my cores.)

Things are getting complicated. as the days goes pass.

Things
such as my studies, the illogical facts that we are forced to accept!

Things
such as my aspirations, What if i took up Applied Chemistry and in the end, i end up being a teacher?

Things
such as Scholarship opportunities, Why hadn't I try for scholarships in the past? Should i try for the MOE Teaching Award then? (though the thought of the 4 years bond totally freaks me out. and i don't wanna be an irresponsible teacher. I need to really have the passion for teaching. and now, that remains a part of me that I just couldn't figure out. Teaching my tuition kiddos is ok, obviously it will be different feeling as teaching and controlling a group of kids, especially rowdy ones. However, the thought of a sponsored exchange programme to Germany proves to be very appealing which leads me to what's next.)

Things
such as my Financial capbilities. With so much money of mine flowing out of my bamk account at $100++/week, how am i gonna survive?!
Maybe i am gonna survive, but how am i ever gonna save enough money to go for my Language Immersion Programme to Germany. (I haven't even mention Student Exchange Programme.)
Driving cost is killing me slowly, Buying of textbooks is killing me rapidly, my Dental costs is the real killer each time. (and i just missed my Dental appointment today. damn. i remembered the wrong time.) I am thinking of taking up another tuition assignment. Yet, the concern is my studies will be jeopardised another consideration is that there is not much time to squeeze in anymore days for another tuition except on Saturdays and Sundays. (and that is provided that my Driving or the current tuition does not fall on Saturday or Sunday.) Oh, and did i mention that the current tuiton might be extended to twice per week which makes my schedule much tougher to accomodate another tuition timing. But that is good news too! at least there is income! :D and Chinese New year is coming! so hopefully the angbaos money that i get will go into my bank. (: (I think it used to not go into my bank.)

Things
such as my lousy Driving skills is indeed bothering me! Damn it! I really hope that i can pass on my first try. My TP is on the 27 March. That is too soon. Looking on the brighter side, the sooner i take it, the sooner i will pass (Hopefully!) and the sooner would i be rid of the driving cost burden. I would say that my Driving is really quite lousy. Though the instructor did say that I am slowly improving, I still feel that i am lousy. Nevertheless, i look forward to every driving lesson no matter how much i dread my instructor's scoldingss! I hope that I can be less timid, and start driving faster. Cruising at 40km/hour even on long straight roads with no cars is indeed very slow. I shall start driving faster the next time round. Oh, and last Sunday morning, at 745am was the first time i drove to Ubi! whee! and i saw my Primary School Maha Bodhi under renovation. (oh, and why is that Manjusri secondary beside Maha Bodhi now huh?! I don't like the idea.) My driving timings are usually very weird. Most of the time it would be early in the morning at 8am, or even before 8am. I almost had driving at yesterday night at 930pm till 11pm. crraziness i think. Luckily the instructor forget. Plus i have never driven at night before! This Saturday my lesson will be at a much more normal timing (130pm). It would be my 7th Driving lesson. (: Please bless that i do much better. Lastly I just wanna say that even though my instructor is fierce, he can be encouraging to a certain extent. For instance that day i stalled! then, in my mind, I was thinking, "Shit man, confirm get scolded again le la!" But to my astonishment, not only did he not scold me, he say that, "偶尔stall一两次是不用紧的!" That is so not him la! Usually he will just scold me lo probably he saw the the distressed and guilty face of mine when i stalled and decided to let me off. I concluded that he isn't that cold blooded afterall.

Things such as my nightmares. They are scary. They are so real and they work on my fears and yearnings.. It leaves me afraid initially, then I would become sad after I wake up. I would tear whenever i think of it. I don't understand why can't those dreams be of a happier ending. I would be really afraid that the dreams do come true, and I sincerely pray that they don't come true. I don't understand why do I have those dreams. Are they trying to tell me something? Are dreams really what happens in reality? If it does, then I want to know why it happens.

That is about all that is going on in my life.
On a happier note, Chinese New Year is coming soon! :D
Looking forward many other joyous things!

Receiving angbaos! Family gatherings! (though i don't quite look forward to certain family gatherings.) Playing with chubby Nadine who is coming back from Dubai! (: Mahjong session! Steamboat at Uncle's place! (I simply love his steamboat with the BBQ thing!) Mummy's CNY cooking! Playing with Marcus and Mabelle! (: Taking Photos with my brother! (Haha. I realised that we like to camwhore during CNY!) Wearing new clothes! Sleeping in my new Snoopy PJs and Bedsheets(not Snoopy one): )! Eating CNY goodies! Lou Yu Sheng! and too much more to be mentioned...

Wishing everyone a Happy Chinese New Year in advance! :D Give me angbaos please!!!

Chinese New Year is never as traditional as it used to be. Ever since then.

Bidding is a chore. CORS madness!

i am beginning to dread bidding.
not that i liked it in the first place.
starting to have doubts about the whole bidding system.

up till now, as i proceed into my second semester.
i know that i am still pretty unsure of the whole bidding process.
yeah. i am a noobie at these kinda things.

One million thousand doubts on bidding...
when do you bid for what?
when can you bid for what?
where to check all the bidding history?
etc etc.

this post, is largely triggered by the anxiousness in me that i can't bid for CM1161 in this round.
):
please do not take away my applied chemistry dream!
i have of course exhibited my Singaporean spirit by Advancing bidding!
(okies, advance biddign sounds like one good point in the CORS system. heh.)

glad that LSM1401 and LAG2201 is preallocated!
no need for bidding! :D
oh, but i don't understand why can't they just pre-allocate CM1121 and CM1131 to us?
i mean what's the point of bidding for something, when it is our CORE?
the best part of it all is we need to take the time to log into the CORS system just to bid for that CORE module for one miserable point!
When all that they can do is to get it pre-alocated to us?!

rahhs.
i will get over all these soon.
just feeling pretty down now.
lack of sleep i think.
yawns!
gonna go back to replying emails.

Tuesday, November 25, 2008

just kill me.

spare me the misery.
kill me now.
SSA2204 is freaking me out!

bless that whoever that cheated me into taking this module.
I will strongly discourage people like me to take this module.
unless if you can S/U then that is totally a different story.

and i am so gonna S/U it.
confirm will pull down my CAP lo. ):
though i don't even know what I will get for my other subjects.

CM1101 was fine.
I could do most of the questions.
Most. But there are people around who could do all of the questions.
ALL as in they attempted all questions even though they only had to do 4 out of the 5 questions.
and these people freaking had time to finish all 5 questions and check through their paper.
When i barely even have the time to breathe in the midst of all the intensive thinking and writing that has to be done for the 4 questions that i attempted!
There are just too many smart people around.
Maybe after moderation, those that get A* will be those that attempted all questions and get FULL MARKS for all 5 questions.
and those that get A and A- will be those that get full marks for attempting 4 questions.
and for people like me who attempted four questions didn't get full marks..... ):

alrights. ): stop the complaints!
I need to go study. ):
for my most dreaded subject for now.
SSA2204.

the next most dreaded will be CM1111.

please can someone bullet train me to 1st dec?
i wanna get it over and done with.
sounds so like my A level time.
Oh, but no, please do not bullet train me there first.
at least let me have time to practise and study for my maths and stats.
This is the only module that i can do well in.
provided that i STOP MAKING CARELESS MISTAKES!
):

drawing lewis structure with Microsoft Word

was doing my Cm1101 assignment,
which is due on monday 12 midnight!!!
so, i attempted to draw Lewis Structure with Microsoft Word:mac.
It sucks ok,
don't bother trying.
This was the final product:

it was so ugly unsatisfactory that i have decided to take the extra step to download ChemSketch 11.0.
don't worry, its not illegal. FREEWARE! (if its illegal i won't be as dumb as to post it up here right?)
oh, but damn the ChemSketch, it is not compatible with Mac though.
but obviously my darling MacBookPro can handle this :D

finally. done downloading.
gotta start learning how to use ChemSketch!
i tell you, it is seriously not user friendly la! ):

oh gosh, i still have to think of how on earth am i going to draw the MO diagram?!!
with Microsoft Word:mac?!
i will try.

i hate printing

printing notes is a chore.
especially if you procrastinate and print STACKS of notes all at once!
serve me right.
i had a great time flipping papers.
never had i missed once.
i think i can work as a paper flipper.
anyone wanna employ me?

hmmm...i don't think i can find such a job in Singapore now.
In the 1980s probably.
But not now, Singapore is moving on to high tech, high wage industries,
cos they find that they can no longer compete with our regional countries in terms of low wage.
So what is gonna happen to those poor uneducated pathetic people like me, who can only flip papers?
The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer.
widening of income gap, thanks to our bestest garmen.

woah. sounds so SSA2204.
what has that module done to me.
freaky! ~

bye. back to filing my disgusting STACKS of notes.
and studying for my FTT. ):

this is shit

freaking shitty CM1111 lab report.
formal one somemore..
i feel like giving up.
damn it.
sucks.

"Why are your nails green?"

Yesterday, during tuition,
when my female tution kid came into the room,
then she went, "WAH GREEN NAILS! Why are they green ah?"
my reply, "I am POISON IVY ma! WAHAHA!"

alrights, i am crazy. haha.
but who cares.
crazily happy ma! :D

got my german 1 (LAG1201) vocab test back today.
89%.
:D
happy!! YAYNESS!
haha. regained confidence in my studies once again.

throughout the whole level there are actually 3 people scoring full marks for the paper!
see, it is not impossible to do well.
its not just them, even for me, i think its possible to do even better!

this is the results i achieved from last minute studying for 1 day.
so if i had studied harder...
hmm... maybe i will be one of those who scored full marks?
hehe (:
okies, i shall stop being so ambitious/such a perfectionist.
BUT it really is possible.
Frau Chen (my lecturer) said that people usually score quite high for vocab test!
and usually everyone pass the test.
Time to work harder for German. :D
Semestertest is coming. NEXT WEEK! ):
its not just a vocab test.
listening, dialogue building, cloze passage, sentence structure, grammar and everything else taught la.
i am glad that there is no oral YET!
alrights, i shall go sleep soon.
): have to go to school myself tomorrow.
sucks.

on a side note, if Zhirong, my dearest BCF is reading this,
I realised that everytime i use orange for my words, i will remember you!
i wonder why. What an impact you made on my life! hee (:

my holiday ended

it was a slack day.
damn slack.
didn't feel like doing anything constructive.
in conclusion, i rested.

ohh, but i did revise German.
:D

went for tuition.
i like my tuition kids :D
hopefully they remember what i teach them.
and i do understand that memorising formulae sucks.
i am facing the same problem now also.
haiz. all that trouble for a piece of qualification.
this is life in Singapore.

Looking forward to CM1111 lab tomorrow.
Something much more interesting than the usual.
I will be synthesising some compounds!
Woohoo!
much more interesting than TITRATION
and e to the power of infinity times more interesting than QUALITIVE ANALYSIS!
(cause "colour-perspective-distortion" people hate QA to the max!)
though, there are a lot more new things to be carried out in tomorrow's experiment,
and hopefully i wouldn't make major mistakes, giving that TA a chance to suan me again. ):
rahhs..
I love NEW CHALLENGES though :D

yayness to tomorrow! :D

Thursday, but no Thursday Blue!
its gonna be THURSDAY GREEN!
yeah! :D

Bubbletea after lab! :D
and finally friday!
and then the weekends!

Looking forward to fridays too! :D
i will be having a series of gatherings on Fridays. (:

anyway, i recovered from my "sadness" :D
not to worry, i am fine now.
and charlie, i want my schokolade as you promised!
VIELE VIELE DANKE! (many many thanks!)

i don't like it the way it is now.

everything in my life seems to go wrong.
Every single thing.
I feel like i am going against all odds.

unhappiness and unsatisfaction. ):

Are my expectations of things too high, or am i just not used to how things works?
I don't deny the fact that I really want to do well, and i feel that i am putting in the effort to give in my best and do well, but why is it that everytime after any test, i end up feeling at a loss, wondering whether I have been studying hard.
I can't say that i had not, cause i think i did, i really think that i did.

probably its the way of studying. and probably its a matter of not very consistent studying plus largely lack of practice. tried my very best to make up for the not very consistent study throughout the whole of recess week. I really tried to maximise my time. but still.. things do
happen. sucks la. i think i am so so far from my goal. i wanna do well. I am thinking of doing well every single day. and i thought i can do well. but who knows... i cant... i suddenly feel very stupid.. really stupid. why cant i understand? or rather why cant I remember. I admit that i panicked during my CM1101 test, i panicked, and faltered. carelessness that shouldn't have been, forgetting the formulae that i remembered all the while before the test. WHY? really WHY?! I am angry at myself for all these HUGE mistakes that will cost me a lot of marks. But why and how did this even happen? Can anyone please ask my stupid brain why did it had to do this to me?! What the hell?! ): I resent this feelings of mine. I hate myself. I hate my brain. I feel that its unfair. It is not because i didn't study, it is because i can't perform and demostrate what I have studied during the most critical period - the test! ):

I think i might breakdown soon.(underestimated)
Totally burnout.
the past three weeks had been a tiring one.
Chionging for everything, trying to balance each and every of the many things that are coming along.
I did it for the past two weeks before recess week. Really fine. Coping well, not very much of a problem. It is this week that is bad. I feel unjustified. I don't know what triggered this unhappiness in me. sucks.

I just feel like slacking now.
Really feel like taking a break and resting.
Yet I can't and I wont.
I want to do well.
really.

Repeating the song "March On" again and again in my iTunes.
Hoping that it will once again motivate me.
