• About how Auntie, Uncle, Daddy and her going to an open air concert tomorrow with a Pasar Malam [she said Night Market, probably cos she was referring to 夜市 like in Taiwan) that sells good food (according to the description on the website)


• About how she keeps seeing good food on sale yet she did not purchase them cos they are only valid till this month and I am not back yet (so sweet right? She finally realised that they have been going to many places without me!)


• About how there is this SCV shows that just interviewed 黄小琥 and is gonna interview my favorite 刘德华 too (but she isn't sure when will they show that episode, and hopes that I am back by then!) *I pray hard that it will be shown on 6 August!*


• About how there were prayers this morning


• About how I haven been sending her my German bank statements! (oops! and she will know how much I have been spending! Though she asked if I have enough money, and after some calculations we both agreed that most of the money was spent on transport & food. Mom was so sweet that she asked me not to scrimp on food, she said, "must eat. come back Singapore then save." goodness!)


• About how she has to work tomorrow morning and how her boss increased her pay and how she expressed her need to sleep - "oh time to sleep. i hv work @ clinic on tomorrow morning." Everything is so cute (:

After the long list of cuteness about mummy, time for some of daddy's cuteness!

Brother and I were talking in the Whatsapp group conversation (with daddy inside) about my trip to Lyon. Then, suddenly I mentioned buying dad a present. He was all along non-existent in the conversation as he did not type anything at all until I said I bought him a belt. And he went, "Really so good to me?? Thank Q....." After which, brother was like, "Whoa dad suddenly pop out!" (I like the way he used "POP" really "POP"!) Following, dad's reply was "Yeah lo.. Bcoz my daughter buy me a belt mah" HAHAHAHAHA! and after that, dad disappeared from the conversation again! Now I finally confirmed my doubts that he really reads everything on the conversation, just that he doesn't reply or comment on it! (*Note to self: be careful of what I say! HAHA!)

Parents, they are so precious to me. I don't know what I would be today without their guidance(: Thanks for bringing me up to who I am today (:

I clicked on post with my magic mouse! :D

As seen from the title above, I have finally gotten my magic mouse. (: (for those who doesn't know what a magic mouse is!) Dearest mummy got it for me! :D Our family went out for a little outing yesterday evening, destination was Marina Bay Sands. Walking along the Helix bridge, explaining to my family members about ATCG base pairs, and also the DNA double helix structure. The best part of it is, I explained most of that in Chinese. (: Only with those short pauses in between to clarify certain nouns. Joan, I am so proud of you!

Of course, with Epi Centres blooming all around new shopping centres in Singapore, Marina Bay Sands is bound to their very own authorised Apple reseller too. The purpose of entering an Epi this time round was for brother to replace his lousy iPhone cover that cracked, resulting in a blocked 3.5mm jack. Brother finally settled on the silicone Air Jacket after various attempts of testing and comparing textures between those Jackets. Conclusion of the day, Air Jacket jacks up their prices, but not their quality, in fact their quality is inversely proportionate/related to the cost. ):

After purchasing brother's Air Jacket, mummy suddenly asked me if I wanted the magic mouse! :D of course I do! Happily we paid for the magic mouse, to our dismay, 10% rebate does not apply to the magic mouse due to certain absurd reasons, which I could not comprehend. Even my MacBook Pro Charger was entitled to the 3% rebate! rahhs rahhs rahhhhsss.

With my index and middle fingers gliding and sliding around the slick looking magic mouse, immense enjoyment follows. (: In comparison with his predecessor, the mighty mouse, no mouse pads are required, 360 degrees scrolling is much personalised and carefree! You get to flick between photos, control the speed you want your scroll to be, eliminates the ache you get from using the trackpad, all in all, life's good. :D $98, totally worth it for a laser mouse! One of the regrets would be the removal of their side squeezing function, bid bye bye to one-squeeze exposé!

*edit* forget to mention that magic mouse is wireless. (: facilitates scrolling through an eBook from the comforts of my bed among my snoopies (:

not that I'm staying beside school or in the west, cant even go home, so I had to rot in school.
Stef and I went out for lunch at Woori Nara Korean restaurant tho.
Yummy! :D I think I'm totally exaggerating how nice everything taste.
Especially the brown rice tea. (: I think I am becoming addicted into drinking teas. (:

it was a little hard trying to juggle mabelle, malcom and chit chatting with marcus at the same time.
could tell that Mabelle was a little jealous when I diverted my attention to Malcom.
Though, everything was fine after a little distraction from her iPhone's cooking mama!
ha, I miss playing with them.
Mabelle's ideas are really creative, she told me she wants to be a an art teacher when she grows up. so cute. (:
so I told her she can teach my kids. and she said, "but I don't know your kids!" in a shy little voice.

Nadine isn't here today. She is over in Taipei. Flying back only tonight. (:

that day before our genting trip, we dropped by her house in JB, and she was delighted! although it was already late at night, she didn't want to sleep and wanted to play with us. She showed me some toys and spoke to me in her, "Sim-ish" language! haha! damn funny! (okies, i like to assume that the kids are trying to convey something to me! Though, it might merely be a wishful thinking on my part.) :P

Lastly, brother's O level results out tomorrow. He seems stressed, and he cant sleep I think.
He suggested playing Wii at this hour. BUT! I have school tomorrow! okies, bad sister. ):
Nevertheless, I wish him luck, and may he get into his VJ la. If not, just appeal! haha, he dyed his ah beng hair black, and removed his biceps tattoo. no more beng. (:

life is being practical

realised that life is all about being practical.
So true.
I haven been around on Earth for a long enough time to realise this stark reality of life.
Glad to have someone 7 years older to enlighten me.

Which was the last day of my exams.

Today, 31st december, I've decided to blog. (:
Just a little round up on December events! (:

Had been traveling for a great deal in December.
First, to Vietnam.
relaxation, shopping, etc etc.. (But not eating, seriously, I don't quite enjoy Vietnamese Cuisine.)

Then, to KL.
shopping, eating, shopping, eating, shopping, & ICE SKATING! (damn fun!)

Next, an impromptu trip to JB.
rebonded hair, treatment-ed hair, did all the miscellaneous "groceries" shopping, dinner with aunts and home sweet home. (:

Lastly, Genting trip next week.
theme park, casino-ing (maybe!), Karaok-ing, (:
totally looking forward! :D and this trip was really affordable (:.
S$50 for 3nights of hotel stay, good deal right? (:
(yesh, its first world. :P )

This short little one month holiday had been fulfilling.
(: family and friends gathering.
Family gatherings always ended up with people staying over at my place.
Nephew and Cousin stayed over. (:
our extra mattress was being carried out and into the storeroom several times.

Had a Boxing day BBQ at my cousin's place.
It was a bring-your-friend day.
haha. okies, so all the friends came.
not all, my brother's one didn't but he really doesn't have a friend! :P

Had Seven sisters welcome-enfant-home-party, plus celebrate Xmas party.
Attendance was good, but everyone had to leave early, and I was there on & off to settle my Wii problems.
& we are pretty much caught up with watching the Korean show on Channel U to catch up.
Good to be seeing everyone (:
& there was a short NUS gathering in the end (as always).
experienced jiawei's driving, and had fun driving around the carpark. to avoid the carpark attendant! :D

Had Xmas gathering (or rather Boxing day) at desmond's NEW house too!
lots of people, but i was feeling rather stoned la.
tired, bloated and not feeling very well. ):
went pubbing after that at iluma. (:
Had a squeezy squishy car in a BMW.
poor dear dear. :P

Pubbing was fun with darts and pool! :D
sadly, pub closed at 1am. & we headed home.

Bro & cousin was at my place, and they bet on what time I will be home.

ohhh, and a long time ago, went K box with Kes, Stef and Kris to celebrate Kes's birthday.

I think i wont be able to make it again.
The more i study, the more i think i am gonna flung it once more.

it really stimulated my crying nerve.
the death of the mother.
it was only after the show, then i realised how much ah ma has done.
small little actions to show her love for us.
Even up in heaven, she still sends us her blessing.

This makes me reflect on how much i have actually done for her?
It was never sufficient i guess..
and there is one regret that i have always lived with.
It is that one regret that i will live with forever.

Very often, I thought that as long as i study hard, and do well for my studies, she will be happy.
and studying hard was always in the name of not disappointing my ah ma.
but i comprehend something today..
No matter how well and how hard i study, it is for my own sake.
It is for my own happiness and future.
My ah ma is happy for me, cause i myself will be happy for my achievement.
My achievement is not for her. It isn't her glory
Even if i don't do well and not succeed in life, she will never look down on me or disown me.
