post campcraft mood

blog surfing and hopping for the past few days.
reading the things that our cadets and instructors wrote ,
and also what other school cadets and instructors wrote.

suddenly, i have this feeling that not all the winning schools are proud and arrogant.

no sore losers.
showed good sportsman ship.
and those Victorians did a good job in displaying the
"Every Victorian a Gentleman, Professional, Sportsman."

most blogs express a sense of loss for TK boys not achieving better results.
many see us as their comparable rival.
yet at the same time, they feel that sense of loss when we were announced 5th.

it is heartwarming to know that the competition isn't that cruel afterall.

especially after hearing nanyang girls cheering for us when TK was announced as Champions.
(they were second.)
that scene was saddening for nanyang girls.
to be the second team is the worst.
all the glamour and attention will be on the champion team.
and yet, they cheered for us.
in fact it was the whole school who cheered for us!
we three-cheers-ed them too. (:
i joined in the three cheers.
feeling really good at that time.
not all losers are sore.
and nanyang girls aren't sore losers at all.

lastly, everyone of the cadets have put up a good fight.
all of them have came a long way.
well done to all of you.
(:
things made no longer be like before.
you may feel like there is something missing in your life.
time may be required to get back into momentum with your new life.
but don't take too long.
its time to catch up on the things that you have lost or sacrificed for campcraft.
you have shown that your sacrifice is worth it.
now, savage your sacrifices.
most importantly, always keep this in mind:
campcraft is not the excuse for you not doing well in other aspects of your life.
instead, use it as a constant reminder;
making every little thing you do happen the campcraft way.
