i was just pondering, if what happened to me happens to someone else,
how will that person react?

just a little thought.

though i don't think it will ever happen.
since it takes two hands to clap, and neither this party nor that party will allow it to happen right?

*pardon me, only certain people will be able to comprehend. (:
nevertheless, through a certain incident i realised that at times super glue doesn't work. there are times when a thinner needs to be called for. at least i have learnt something by looking at the whole incident happening. hopefully one day, someone will realise that too.

anyway, today i finally saw kesleen's boon!
HAHA! he has BIG eyes!
but not scary la.
not like someone who is scary and evil and bad and horrible and possessive and etc etc.
i think i should just stop badmouthing people.
okies, la i guess he is a friendly person! though he didn't even take bothered to say hi to stef and i, but still... hmm.. haha.
and i wanna take his module too!! some fragrances module! i think it is about perfume stuff! (:
yay! and i aspire to work in a perfume industry okies (: that's my ambition! :P gonna ask kes to ask him about it if he manages to appeal successfully. (:

our great gathering yesterday!

:D we had a great great gathering yesterday.


it was kopitiam.
then shopping at ZARA!
(and it was a fruitful shopping trip! Right Kristen?)
LASTLY! BAKERZIN!

oh my gorgeous!
this impromptu meet up was largely inspired by passing enfant's her beautiful present!
(the one that stef, kes and i specially chose for her lo! )
and fuelled by the Promotional Bakerzin Warm Chocolate Cake at a price of $4.90! :D
(after all the pluses, it cost us about $5.70)

for the sake of our dearest jiawei who has missed out all the fun due to her inter-hall games,
(and for thanking jiawei for helping us make a trip down to S5 then S8 just to help us ballot resulting in her attending only half her lesson!)
i have decided to blog about the highlights of the gathering.

At Kopitiam,
Stef, kes and i decided to play hotel626 before kris and enfant arrived.
(the game is only available from 6pm to 6am!!!!)
hotel626 keeps you in suspense!
Everything is so so real!!
From first point of view!
i admit that i was really scared, hiding behind my "winter wear".
Stef was in charge of clicking. HAHA!
she is the bravest of us all.
sadly we didn't manage to complete any of the levels.
haha! and partly due to us being scary cats, and the other part due to the slow loading speed, we ended the game!

Kris and enfant arrive, thus our normal dinner began.
it was a chit chatting session during dinner,
with enfant complaining of her online buyer,
kris complaining of her lousy day,
and the rest of us complaining of a lousy yesterday,
plus many other miscellaneous things.
oh ya! i have to add that i really love enfant's belt! :D
Kes agree too lo!
but there are some people who thinks otherwise; they named her belt - bandage.


Left for ZARA,
no, first to search for shoes, but to no avail. ):
too ex la! ALDO! unacceptable price range!
so we decided to shop around in ZARA. (:
Kris took two tops to try.
and the three of us took turns to go into the fitting room to comment! (:
hee. (: we are considerate people lo, didn't want to jam up the narrow fitting room.
erm, but in the end, kris requested for all of us to go in!
all of us thought that the black one suits her best! and most importantly, it totally goes with her longchamp bag! (not like t-shirts!) HAHA!
finally we completed our mission!
and really finally we are BACK ON TRACK!
debts clearing is speeding up le! :D


Next was bakerzin!
we were all weirdos.
although we all knew that we only wanted the warm chocolate cake, veryone still flipped through the whole of the menu!
Bakerzin shall be decided as our next next dinner place!
prices are reasonable indeed. (:

the warm chocolate cake took quite long to be served though. ):
but our talkativeness once again causes time to fly!
then the cake was served, cameras out and snapping of pictures commence.
Kesleen was damn funny la!
she wanted to post a picture with her cake, erm so i took a picture for her.
but she was "vibrating" so vigorously that her ice cream on the cake slided off the cake!
haha! :D

after finishing the cake.
my dearest enfant made me perform my cutest trick of the night.
nah, i won't divulge what it is yet! :P
you readers shall know when i upload those pictures! :P
though it has something to do with my "winter wear".
according to kesleen, the waitress collecting our plates laughed at ME my cute trick while collecting the plates!
hee (:

oh, i suddenly remembered that enfant and kesleen was like so hou lian pi (thick-skinned) la!
there were several incidents lo, and they both fought to be the prettiest!
kesleen's memorable "魅力无法挡" was the classic of the day la!

and that was about all for our mini gathering!
short, shortage, but endless fun nevertheless!

anyway, i have to admit that i truly enjoy the company of this bunch of friends!
just having a short dinner, shopping, dessert makes me so happy!
and i really admire our creativity at times. (:

a visit to the clinic cost me a freaking $171!!!

that is substracting off the amount of time I spent queueing up this morning,
and the amount of beauty sleep that i have to sacrifice.
other than that, the number of times that i have to go to and fro the clinic only to realise that it is still not my turn.
the number of times to and fro amounts to a huge sum of bus fare.
ADULT BUS FARE OKIES!!
i am glad i went on a bike on my second trip there.

yeah, the bike.
caused myself a huge big scratch.
my fist hit into the wall!

it is reddish, (becoming blue-blackish) and the skin is coming out now.

hopefully all that has happened today is worthwhile.

the doctor says that there is improvement.

I made a dental appointment this friday (: hehe (:
i love visiting the dentist!
i am going to my brother's dentist which is my ex dentist later.

a summary of my queueing up time:
early in the morning at 730am, reached the clinic and queued up till 840am,
just to get the queue number.
made my way back home for breakfast.
then left my house at around 1015am.
reached the clinic again at 1025am. (i cycled damn fast lo!)
there is a need for some explanation here.
My queue number was 16.
and i heard the nurse telling the patient (queue number 14) to come back around 45 minutes later.
As i have had the prior experience of the nurses' ability in predicting the consultation time,
i decided to come back only about 1 hour 30 minutes later. (which was around 1030am)
So to my horror, when i reach the clinic at 1025am, it was only at queue number 8!
i had no choice but to roam around the neighbourhood areas, with nothing interesting or appealing to me.
bought 4D for my mummy.
made my dental appointment.
and lastly, i really had no choice but to go back to the clinic, sit down, wait,
(it was only queue number 11)
while starting playing Spore and Guitar Hero on my phone.
Pretty much of an achievement i made in both Spore and Guitar Hero.
Finally at 1150am, queue number 16 was called.

in total, i spent my whole morning from 650am - 1210pm just to see doctor!
grrr!

back to the topic of poorness,
2 driving lessons this week: $72
visit to the clinic: $171
visit to the dentist: GOD KNOWS HOW MUCH? (at least $100 i suppose.)
tuition being postponed: ): no income.

haiz. ):
sad and poor.
though money can't buy happiness.
but with less money there is less happiness.
looking forward to tuition tomorrow. (:
sorta miss giving tuition.

Fun wih Picasa for Mac (beta) on my MacBook Pro!

Here is what i did with Picasa.

Just having a little fun after downloading Picasa (for Mac) for free!
I am really glad that they came up wih Picasa for Mac.
I fondly remember the memories i had with Picasa a few years back when i was working with my home PC.

Finally got it on my Mac!

When i first got the software i was thinking that isn't this just another software like iPhoto?
But Picasa proved me wrong!
There are addition useful things like creating pictures collages,
(fast and easily! very very user-friendly)

Tabs to keep things in check and allowing your work to be done neatly.
This is especially appealing to people who dislike having to work with 1000 windows! (one example would be photoshop!)
*Something like tabbed browsing on a browser. Get the picture?
iPhoto isn't that bad, because you can't work with more than 1 photo at a time! ):

Allows for uploading of pictures into your blogger account!
This is what i just did!
This would definitely make me much more efficiently in uploading pictures for my monthly gatherings.
i have not tried uploading lots of pictures at once, but so far, there aren't any major glitches in my experience with Picasa 3 for Mac (beta).
Hope that things stay the way it is now.

oh, there is one down side of Picasa though.
It is unable to edit pictures from the iPhoto Library directly.
there is a need to make another copy of the picture.
Not quite Picasa's fault though, since iPhoto library stores only the read only files.
It is just one point that makes it more troublesome and space consuming to use Picasa.

No doubt, Picasa is good. i will still be using my iPhoto to import photos from my camera.
Editing will be done on iPhoto too.
Nevertheless, well done Google.

Bidding is a chore. CORS madness!

i am beginning to dread bidding.
not that i liked it in the first place.
starting to have doubts about the whole bidding system.

up till now, as i proceed into my second semester.
i know that i am still pretty unsure of the whole bidding process.
yeah. i am a noobie at these kinda things.

One million thousand doubts on bidding...
when do you bid for what?
when can you bid for what?
where to check all the bidding history?
etc etc.


this post, is largely triggered by the anxiousness in me that i can't bid for CM1161 in this round.

i have of course exhibited my Singaporean spirit by Advancing bidding!
(okies, advance biddign sounds like one good point in the CORS system. heh.)

glad that LSM1401 and LAG2201 is preallocated!

oh, but i don't understand why can't they just pre-allocate CM1121 and CM1131 to us?
i mean what's the point of bidding for something, when it is our CORE?
the best part of it all is we need to take the time to log into the CORS system just to bid for that CORE module for one miserable point!
When all that they can do is to get it pre-alocated to us?!

seven sisters gathering!

ok today was 7 ssisters gathering, and i was the earliest. you know when phebe bay is the earliest, then the others must be really really late. hahah. okey 2nd was kesleen who was ten mins later than me (another suprising encounter), the was kristen (not so suprising), then stef who is usually one of the reliable i know you are there already person, then liyong, who was (ahem at dais... for a rather long period of time.haha.....), then jiawei, who wore a rather nice shirt, forgot to tell her that! hahah and lastly, the ORGANISER, my mummy. Ok, there is no such resemblance or inheritance because, enfant was the earliest, and my dear mummy who told us to meet at 245, came abt 5 plus. ha! obviously enfant's early genes was no where to be found in her mummy. anyways, we took a weird bus to holland v where we had steamboat, and xiao long baos. hahah! honestly i din really believe that there was such thing as a buffet at 830pm, cos usually all those restaurants want to close alr, but there is one! and its quite nice.

minus the fact that the waitress threatened to charge us for wasting food (haha she never had to, because the liver, and the ahem "japanese tofu" which an ah ma of mine ordered was dumped into the pot of dan dan soup, and was covered by brownish peanut butter like substance. haha. anw, i realise mummy likes everything to do with peanuts, including that funny dan dan peanut soup. hahah! and nice ah gong helped me to cook some noodles:D:D then hor, the nus pple started talking abt their nus things and their cm 111 or dont know what thing, so the ntu pple had to talk abt their things too! hahah lucky have 3 of us ok! anw, i decided i m really chui alr cos i dont even know when our exam results were coming out, had to ask mary who heard from her friend and i didnt even know when we were starting school.HAI! die lah, those tut 27 pple never tell me lor.

oh wait! i think i had to eat a half cooked japanese mushroom thanks to my dearest mum, and jiawei shall officially be known as my Prawn Partner(cos she always help me cook prawns) kesleen and liyong are Prawn Competitors .HAHA but its actually me being thick skin eating up all the prawns.hahaha! mummy is seriously lousy cos poor ah gong have to peel prawns for her. ha! i think ah gong can be Prawn Peeler II. heeheeeee. (next time go out on a prawn buffet we all know who to ask.. LOL. anw, i must say ah ma can be one of those generals in the old chinese army, cos those old men always use like some chess pieces to represent their armies or what right? ah ma used some preserved vege to represent the sitting position of the guys on the nxt table to show kristen. anw, those pple ordered 7 longs of xlb! gosh!

anw, lucky have good old ah ma to go back with me from holland v:D i mean its so much better to go with someone, and suprising holland v was very quiet on a sat night. anw, im weird but i just like walking on that stretch of road towards the busstop, i have this weird peaceful feeling when i m there... really wanted to go walawala! hahaha. yupp. somebodies bring me there next time!:D

haven been blogging for quite some time.

had a quite a few gatherings recently.
Just last sunday was 30/06 class gathering.
(it feels so foreign when i typing 30/06)

haven seen those guys for so long!
and Leonard has hair now! HAHA!
How ironic. He is in army and he has longer hair than he used to.
Mr Calvin Tan came too.
there was a fairly heated up conversation held in the study before dinner.
memorable it would be.

Guitar hero was great! :D
fun fun fun!
unleashed singing potentials!

After guitar hero, the guys moved on to some soccer game.
Girls were left uninterested.
and so we moved on too.

cos there was a particular sister of ours having some i-don't-know-what personal reasons, and was not able to make it. :P
all i can say is, you missed out all the fun. but we didn't quite miss you! OOPS! :P

Bridge session commenced upon the dying down of my camera's battery.
it was paired bridge!
and i will forever remember how the waiting time was like when we played Risk during the previous chalet!
HAHA!
and poor enfant. she sorta lost quiteee miserably.
oh, and did i mention that tan kheng ming and enfant are still bickering!
in fact enfant was bickerish with almost everyone.

yeah, and that qixiang is like some emo quiet kid.
Staying very calm throughout the whole night.
HA. has SAF shaped him into what he has become?
What surprised me was his bridging skills! cool la!
sit there quietly, bidding, playing..
then WINNING.
yeah cool is the word.

tkm acquired a new name.
Click Tan Kheng Ming.
it all came about cause click = km (as in kilometers)
and tkm insisted that km is him.
so Click Tan was his new name.

then came the collection of Class Funds.
it was the most dreadful event during our JC years.
but this time, everyone paid up.
Everyone paid up efficiently.
Everyone including David Phang.
Grow up liao la! haha. :D
or was it cause $7.50 is nothing compared to his $1000 pay monthly.

lastly, it came to the time when people starts leaving.
bidding farewells with the promise that we will meet up again soon in June!

Kristen, Stef, Kesleen, and Jiawei continued their guitar hero game.
while enfant and I left off with Erick and Gauri.
I guess that was when Jiawei and Kesleen left in love with the drums.
rahhs! i wanna play too! should have stayed behind and leave enfant to go home alone man! :P

Last friday, my brother and i went on a crazy cycling trip from our house to East Coast Park and back home!
it was a OMG trip!
my butt REALLY HURTS! ):
in total we cycled around 20km!
I think i am so cool man! HAHA!
oh, and my brother brought me to the ECP's nice duck rice.
really not bad la. (for a person who dreads eating duck rice, i finished it without complaining leh!)


oh oh, and my beloved brother brought me a birthday present!
haha! its supposed to somethings magical and "in" nowadays.
i shall post it up when i have gotten it. (:

Ello world!
I am back after such a long time.

The reason for not blogging for such a long time was simple.
NO TIME LA! :P
Officially ended my exams on the 1st of December. :)

2nd of december, finish planning my timetable for next semester!
all because i needed to book my german lectures.
oh my god la! next semester's timetable is gonna be quite bad. ):
hopefully my wednesdays will be free! :D
looking forward to my four day work week! :D gee!
did some last minute packing, making sure that everything was in order and nothing was left out.
went to the library in the later afternoon, and borrowed four books.
really nice ones, i just finished one. :D

and KL from 6th to 8th.
was a shopping trip ba.
but the rewards aren't abundant.
didn't buy a lot of clothes la.

the sales was apparently not very much.
It was a peak season with the long holiday of Haji, and yet, there weren't much tourists around.
Business was poor.
Had pretty much of an "adventure" in KL.
Shifting hotel rooms, nd shifting hotel entirely!

haha! ): it wasn't a great memory to be engraved in my supposingly happy shopping trip.
