long weekend!

long weekend ahead.
just feel like sleeping it away.
with the cooling rainy weather,
the only mood that i have in mind is my sleepy mood.

heaps and piles of things to accomplish within this long weekend.
it makes the supposingly long weekend seems rather short.
time is a relative concept,
like every other thing in life.

just yesterday, i was telling my brother my birthday wishlist for this year.
and he sorta ignored me totally. ):
only four things on my wishlist. :D
and of course, one of them is an Apple product. :D

my sony T200 is hospitalised. ):
cant get to see it for one week!

it actually vibrates you know!
the person was saying that he will get my lens replaced.
hopefully it will recover,
and hopefully it will recover before sir desmond's wedding.

on the topic of his wedding,
he was saying that he has the experience and will be able to advice us accordingly next time.
"You think you all still very young ah?" was his reply when i said that there is still a long way to go.
but i am really still young what!

my last paper is one day after my birthday.
finally get to experience what it is like to have birthday on my exams.

the second best part of it all is that the last paper is Maths.
the only paper that i have full confidence in.
but that is of course with lots of practice and revision to be done on 30nov!
WHICH IS MY BIRTHDAY!
(i need to clarify that i am not trying to do last minute revision here.
Just that it is crucial to revise everything once again the day before.)
and the best part of it all is,
this year my chinese birthday nicely coincides with my English birthday! ):

anyway, i have decided that i am not gonna risk my maths just so to celebrate my birthday.
looking on the brighter side of life, i don't have to make the decision whether or not i want to celebrate my birthday the Chinese or the English way.

Suddenly feel like blogging about this word.

Diarrhea is a beautiful word.
It is an English word that I always fail to spell properly/correctly.

However, i have solved this problem by finding its equivalent in German.
Durchfall
i like the pronunciation.

Ich hatte ein Durchfall.
(I had a diarrhea.)

Don't you think the German version sounds so much classier?

spelling Durchfall won't be a problem for me anymore.
The spelling of the word actually makes more sense, making it easier to be remembered!
Fall -> Waterfall -> Waterfall of shit!

found a less crowded, but long and tedious road from AS4 to the central library bus stop.

took the same shuttle bus with mary!
had some small talk with her on the bus.
we were busy balancing ourselves while conversing.
mary was standing at the edge of the steps, and i was standing right beside the driver.
i think i was obstructing him changing his gear.
he sucks la.
kept on grumbling.

anyway, nice to have company on a crowded shuttle bus.
takes your mind off those bumpy and uncomfortable squeeziness on the bus.

somwthing about by convention electrons are drawn to point up instead of down as up means heaven, and down means hell. Hell- bad omen!

after lab, went down to meet another textbook seller for my another textbook.
the textbook is for next semester,CM1161.

i know la. i kiasu.
but i have learnt my lesson.
i am buying the textbook to keep.
at least demand for this textbook now is still low.
so prices are relatively fine also.
got it for $31.
haha. supposed to be $30, but since she only has $19 change, then i closed one eye lo. (:

it is really cant make it one!
when i alight, i met kelvyn!

and he asked me to join him.
so we shopped there for a while.

Transforming English to German!

The European Union commissioners have announced that agreement has been reached to adopt English as the preferred language for European communications, rather than German, which was the other possibility.

As part of the negotiations, the British government conceded that English spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a five-year phased plan for what will be known as EuroEnglish (Euro for short).

In the first year, "s" will be used instead of the soft "c". Sertainly, sivil servants will resieve this news with joy.

Also, the hard "c" will be replaced with "k". Not only will this klear up konfusion, but typewriters kan have one less letter.

There will be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond year, when the troublesome "ph" will be replaced by "f". This will make words like "fotograf" 20 per sent shorter.

In the third year, publik akseptanse of the new spelling kan be expekted to reach the stage where more komplikated changes are possible.

Governments will enkorage the removal of double letters, which have always ben a deterent to akurate speling. Also, al wil agre that the horible mes of silent "e"s in the languag is disgrasful, and they would go.

By the fourth year, peopl wil be reseptiv to steps such as replasing "th" by "z" and "w" by " v".

During ze fifz year, ze unesesary "o" kan be dropd from vords kontaining "ou", and similar changes vud of kors be aplid to ozer kombinations of leters.

Und efter ze fifz yer, ve vil al be speking German like zey vunted in ze forst place....

yes, this is what I am learning now. Welcome to the World in German.
In fact, I really find German easier to spell and pronounce.
Though the constructing of sentences and the different forms in verbs, nouns, the female and male forms of words, the combining of Nouns can get me pretty confused at times...
I still love German.
I think it is easy to spell.

Wait till I can speak fluently, then i will put those words back.
