Xperience Pharmacy Camp!

woah. i sort of regretted saying that i don't wanna go for the camp!

it was really very very damn fun!
(minus some talks probably...)

alrights, now i am feeling really guilty that i missed some talks due to my short attention span
and also my lousy ability to keep my eyes open.
talks refer to talks by mostly external speakers and not those lectures given by the NUS students themselves.
i find the lectures and practicals really interesting! (:

Day 1
raining day.
and foul mood.
was waiting for bus 95 at the bus stop with a bunch of JC kids in school uniform.
(i am officially not a JC kid anymore! *grins!)
unwillingly, i left da snoopy at home,
'cause he doesn't want to get in the rain.
=(
dreading the 3 long days without snoopy.
finally reached NUS.
again we waited for registration and stuff.
to wait is a chore.
but i am glad that jiawei, stef, liyong and kesleen were there.
haha. at least there is "entertainment".
when we finally joined our group, OG 12- ketoconazole,
kes and i were thinking, oh man we are like the only J2s there!
how?!
and all the rest were from the top top schools in singapore.
they are like the elites!
HCI, NJ, VJ etc.
tsk tsk tsk. TJ is like so insignificant?
ah.. whatever!
the project coordinator kept n emphasising that this is an educational camp!
and my mindset was - this is gonna be a fun camp!
first the introduction, it was so boring?
i ended up talking to kesleen.
and from where i was, i saw liyong talking to her og mates too.
she was like talking excessively!
i have to stress that liyong is being too talkative during this whole camp!
she has caught the phebe disease. (her voice was extremely audible.)
then, some lectures on acne and sun protection.
it a rather interesting.
and the lecturer, Amanda, who is one of the ogl was very funny!
it was her sense of humour that kept me awake throughout the whole lecture!
after that, we were exposed to Practicals!
i love practicals!
we made calamine lotion and some Menthol and Eucalyptus Inhalation.
the Eucalyptus oil really stinks!
and its like oily and stinky.
yucks!

not 'cause i am lousy.
but the ingredients are expiring soon or close to expiry date!

not to be taken.
its meant for inhalation only.
but don't try inhaling.
personally, i think it stinks!

and i really got it!

i think it was until this game then i started liking my group!
OG 12 really can play madly!
and our group got the best of everything that we could get in the game.
our strategy works! (erm, do we have one in the first place?)

before our turn, kes and i were trying out shoulder to butt, and we really got it.
we were very fast!
too fast for the shutter to capture!

only one single bed.

and loser get the bed. haiya, and i won.

after bathing went over to jw, ly, and stef's hostel.
we intended to go to the 7 eleven, which we thought was quite near.
we asked a stranger who told us that it is a 30minutes walk!
and volunteered to bring us to the prata shop instead, which was around 290minutes walk.
haha. lazy us didn't want to walk. so we continued roaming around the place.
met ah boon(seng han).
dunno why we started calling him ah boon,
'cause we all thought that he has that boon face.
but ah boon also dunno where the 7eleven is.
so we got his number and continued roaming around.
kes finally called grace to ask and we were damn glad that she was at 7eleven!
yeah! supper finally arrived at 1plus.
although there was no mee sua ):
liyong where is the mee sua that you promised to cook for me!!!
it was still a happy eating and chit-chatting session!
jiawei fell asleep first. she found her comfortable position and zzzz...
so kes and i left for our own room at around 5plus.
and coughed to bed at around 6. ):
the floor was really hard and uncomfortable.


Day 2
woke up quite late.
had a morning call from liyong.
yawns*
woke up reluctantly and i had a difficult time waking kes up!
she mistook me for mj!
haiyo...tsk tsk tsk...since when did i grow that tall la!
cheesecake and ovaltine for breakfast.
shared cheesecake with kes.
and stef took a mouthful of cheesecake from my half eaten piece!
oh gosh. i spread the germs to her.
she is infected with my cough on the third day.

first thing n the morning was lecture.
Diarrhoea, dandruff and Constipation
my group was like trying damn hard to keep awake.

yeah, i really did managed to pay attention throughout the whole lecture!

after that, movie screening.

i spent half the time sleeping.
didn't really catch the storyline.
among the five of us, jiawei was like in z cube land throughout the whole movie!
i wonder how did she managed to find that comfortable position in the not-so-comfortable chair.
anyway, that sleep was good.i felt much better after the sleep.

then came lunch.
not delicious.
haha.
after lunch, retail and hospital pharmacy talk.

that is kes and i in the almost last row.
we are always sitting at the last few rows when it comes to talks.
see, we were not asleep.
wide awake, listening.
*grins* yeah right. haha.

after the talk was the visit to IMM Guardian.
its so unfair la.
other groups get to go to places like SGH and AH.
and my group got Guardian!
it wasn't that bad though 'cause we get to shop!
haha! shopping was good!
shopped at giant.
we bought tibits, presents for our ogl, and also a bottle of conditioner.
the visit to guardian was really quite short.
quite informative.
then, went to shop around IMM for a while.
i saw this really nice adidas shorts, which is the same color scheme as my jacket!
damn nice la (:

but after some serious though, its not worth it la. ):

and back to NUS!

in conclusion, ketoconazole is a crazy and highly enthusiastic og!

jiawei, stef and liyong joined us in our hostel that night.
we chatted.

it was wow!
hmm. pretty interesting.
yawns. went to bed at around 6am.
haiya. feeling rather sad that we did not join our og in the games!
heard that they played really fun games like sabotege?
ahhh..we missed the fun!!

Day 3
prata for breakfast!
yummy!
but it was bad for the cough.
and with my og mates stressing me when i am eating!
ahh!! i gave up the half eaten prata, i really wanted to finish it la!
off we went for some super duper boring talk.
took a shuttle bus there.

haven got the time to blog ever since A levels ended.
What an irony.

anyway, the past few days was real great!
happiness on top of happiness plus additional happiness and extra happiness again!

22nd nov! ~officially last day of A levels!
after biology MCQ, our small little minute class had a class gathering.
first we went to Bugis.
then, cause the lousy cinema in Bugis doesn't show the movie that they were watching, they decided to go Cathay.
haiz. then jiawei and i had to proceed home.

jiawei and i went all the way to Bugis to buy beard papa choc fondant.(izit correct?)
and back home.
we were in Bugis for less than 40minutes lo.
then went back home.
oh ya, i bought cheesecake ingredients on the way.
reached home.
slacked a while.
pestered dad to buy my T200 for me.
haiz. but i failed.
went to courts mega store to play with the T200.
really really love it.
my bro and i spent like 3 to 4 hours there.
played with nintendo wii.

i have decided to go joel's house to play with it!

then went to ikea too.
bought sweets.
there was these strawberry sweets that looks pretty tempting.

23rd nov
woke up rather late.
in fact my bro woke me up.
he handed me 400bucks.
from dad.
to buy my T200!
yeah!
damn damn happy:)
the 400bucks is only a loan.
i will pay him back went i start work.
so dad bought me all the way to AMK to get my T200!
i bought the red one.

my bro was supposed to meet triffany at 630pm.
and i am supposed to meet dear at 630pm also.
but we ended up leaving ishop around 615pm.
i made it on time cause i was meeting at city hall, while my bro at causeway!

oh and i finally saw an ipod touch, and i finally touched it!

i was forced to wake up at 8am!
dear morning-called me.
dear wants to meet at 10 la!
and we are going parkway.
i don't get what so nice about parkway.

so i sleepily met dear and we went to parkway.

it looks different.
there is a new borders.
the display are quite organised.

for a moment i didn't realise what happened.
it didn't occurred to me that they were having this surprise birthday party for me.
i mean my birthday was like still quite long later right.
it was only until i stepped into the house, staring blankly at everyone in the house.
everyone= dawn, sheena, juang, joel, my bro and sir desmond sitting on the sofa.
and i was told to get out of the house and come in again.
cos they were caught "off guard".
haha. so i got out of the house first. met dear.
and entered my house together again.
this time round, i pressed the door bell. and they "surprised" me!
haha.

for the food the fun and games(stupid blindfolded twister), the presents.

it was bbq at km's house!
very fun!

and neither were we sleepy.

not bad la. quite nice.
certain scenes were quite horrifying.

and then, kes n i left.
we are like the earliest to leave la.
i went back to tk to collect my uniform. and kes accompanied me.

we parted and left for home.
i slept all the way till late afternoon and met dear for dinner.

27th nov
went for interview at Department of statistics.
was rather nervous initially.
everything was like so formal.
oh ya. and Engkiat recommended me the job.

met him before the interview and he reassured that everything would be fine.
upon stepping into the interview room, things run smoothly.
the environment wasn't as tensed up as i thought it would be.
i was more of a job briefing rather than an interview.
yeah. i was glad everything turned out fine.
and the job scope was a lot more interesting than i thought it would be.
oh ya. and i got the job already. though the person has not contacted me yet.
after the interview, i was supposed to meet my bro at funan.
which was beside the Treasury building, where department of statistics was.
i walked around the watsons for more than half an hour and my bro is still not here yet.
then, he told me that he was shopping with triffany at city hall.
they were shopping for my present.
so i randomly suggested to shop with them so that i can choose my present.
haha. yup.
and they agreed. :)
haha. but i feel like a little bright though.
and triffany is really nice. :)
i seriously thinks that he looks taller than my bro!
haha! okie, but my bro is really taller.
so we shopped around.
and my bro tried to persuade me to buy certain weird weird stuffs.

28th nov
went back to sch.
in home clothes!!
haha. initially we thought that the security guard won't allow.
but we followed behind the group of malay guys wearing home clothes and went into school successfully.
collected our very unreal and untrue testimonials and our certificates.
it was like reading a passage of lies.
haha. but who cares.
then we had a "class" outing.
went to city hall.
and the queue at donut factory was short!
and we bought donuts and ate them in mos burger.
:)
it was so so unglam la.
the double choc was flowing all over the place.
so disgusting.
haha.
kes was the ultimate unglam one.
tsk tsk tsk...
after lunch we went over to marina square.
went shopping for their prom stuff.
gauri tried on some really nice dresses.
but still couldn't decide on one.
and gauri really has substance!
and km was looking around for shirts also.
couldn't seems to find one that fits him.
haha. jiawei came to join us after she flew back from tawain.
she looks really sleepy la.

29th nov
went out with eeping and mabelle to watch Barney show at marina square.

this is the consecutively third day i am going to marina square liao.
Barney show was quite interesting.
and barney isn't that gay afterall.
i think baby bop is cute.
and i think the BJ's voice is weird la.

haha. i couldn't make out some of the words he is saying.
after the barney show, my bro joined us for lunch at thai express.
they celebrated my birthday for me.
it was really nice :)
the green curry and that chicken wing thing was nice too :)
and mabelle is as cute as ever!

she is so so sweet la.

then after my really late lunch, i went to meet dawn and sheena.
i am really very very sorry dawn.
hee. i didn't hear my phone ring.
hehe. was having fun with mabelle la.
then we ate at cafe cartel.
they ate while i drank.

i was still feeling full from lunch.
then, sheena bought this big box along with her.
i already guessed what is inside lo.

30th nov [the most impt day throughout the year]
and i am finally officially 18!!!

my whole day was for dear:)
he bought me to this harbour front tower place for dinner.

my birthday was going to be over soon and there came another surprise!
as i reached home, entered my room, i saw this damn cute thing lying on my bed!

my birthday present from dear dear :)
i really really like it a lot!

the snoopy was very huggable!
i love hugging it to sleep.

and i separated woodstock and snoopy.
so cruel right?

busying doing last minute packing for my trip.
haiz. flying off to japan le.
won't be able to hug snoopy to bed for 1 whole week.

feeling rather reluctant to go for camp. :(
haiz. i don't know how to put it. But its just that the camping mood isn't there.
Or rather the socializing mood isn't there.
I'm tired of making "friends"who will ultimately become acquaintances then finally "starngers".
What's the point of having so many acquaintances?
It increases your popularity, probably? and then what next?

And what's worse than having "strangers" who were supposed to be acquaintances who were once your friends?
I think its freaking shitty how all these "friendship" stuff works.
And its also pretty shitty to realise that true friends you have always regarded them as turn out to be "below expectation".
Sometimes things just don't turn out the way you expect it to be.
Either accept it or be disappointed.
I've learnt that in life, its always better to set low expectations in order to avoid disappointment.
So now, i am expecting that the camp will be damn boring and i shall be damn introverted. :(

then again, my hopes are suddenly pull up high.
liyong just shocked me with this good news-
KESLEEN IS IN THE SAME GROUP AS ME!! woohooo!
but still i am not expecting much out of this.

just came back from my Japan trip.
was pretty astonished by certain facts.
i was flooded by a series of interesting happenings once i touched down at Singapore Changi Airport.
i received a call from this good friend of mine, whom, reported her shocking "adventures" to me.

i admit i was expecting something big.
and i was partially correct about certain things but i just didn't expect things to go so fast.
rather unpredictable.
nevertheless, blessings to you and all the best.
please make it work out.
once again, i am back to my principle that if you think that the relationship will not last,
i really don't see the point in continuing.
so really. make it work out.
i want the best for you.

the other thing that i missed out on was the person P, person L and person K relationship.
okie, according to P,(whom i just met at my house bus stop.)
some of them thinks that T likes L.
then after a certain buying pants event,
they realised that nope, T doesn't like L.
(i am not sure who is they.)
yet, P insisted T still likes L.

it is interestingly complicated.
yet this is not the most complicated that i have heard.
anyway, my conclusion is that certain guys are weird.

just like how sianz represent so many different meanings in their dictionary.
sianz is like a synonym for tired, hungry, boring, stupid, irritating etc....
to put it nicely they are just unique creatures.
creatures different from females.

it is also the difference between the males and the females that complicate things.
i do not wish to live in a complicated world.
just grant me a simple and carefree life.
